El Nova, is a 70’s inspired alt rock musician in Naarm (Melbourne). Coming from a diverse musical background with roots in classical and gospel voice training, growing up, dhr listened to a lot of jazz, soul and classical music but it wasn’t until the age of 19 that she fell in love with 70’s rock and began to write her my own music. Heavily inspired by the music of Queen, El Nova enjoy's blending elements of these diverse genres to build her own unique soundscape. "I’ve developed my sound through co-writing music with my Dad - our different perspectives result in arrangements that sound quite timeless", releasing herfirst single ‘Morpheus’ in 2021 and she is now looking forward to releasing her debut EP ‘Beam Me Up’ on May 26th 2023, with the launch of a show at The Workers Club on the 25th May.
