Triple R is not playlisted.

Each presenter selects every track they play. This ensures that a multitude of diverse ears will hear your music and consider it for airplay.

There are two ways you can submit your music to Triple R:

1. Directly service a presenter - If you are familiar with the Triple R program grid you may feel your music is suited to certain Triple R shows. In this case, please feel free to directly service those programs with your music and bio. This can either be in a digital format via their program's email address or social media pages (if they have them), or in a physical format sent to the Triple R Station address below.

2. Service the station - If you are unsure which programs your music is best suited to, or a program doesn't have publicly available contact details listed on their webpage, please email streaming and download links and bio information to: music@rrr.org.au

To make it as easy as possible to have your music heard and passed onto our presenters, we need your music sent through in a format that is easy to digest..

Please include:

  • A clear and easy to read subject line for your email eg. ‘Music submission: Artist name - release title’
  • A link to stream your music that does not require a log-in (soundcloud, bandcamp, youtube are fine. Streaming service links are less desired)
  • A download link to your music - this must be a high quality mp3 (320kbps) or WAV file. You can use platforms such as dropbox, wetransfer (without an expiry date) or gdrive to do this.
  • Name your digital files clearly so that they don’t get lost in download folders.
  • A short biography about your musical project (1-2 paragraphs of details)
  • Details on any gigs or launches you’re playing.
  • Do not send large files via email. Press releases as a PDF are fine, but it’s always preferable to have key information in the body of the email - not an attachment.

Submitting physical music:

In the case of CD's/LP's/cassettes etc, please address one or more copies including bio details to:

Triple R Music Department
Triple R FM
PO Box 2145
Brunswick East VIC 3057

Physical releases arriving at the station will be added to the libray and/or allocated to individual programs for consideration. Airplay is always at the discretion of the presenters.
