“Ivan Sen has such a unique narrative voice that works cross genre. I feel that any audience can sit down and watch if it’s a sci-fi or a coming-of-age film, the mystery, the outback, the thriller. Across Ivan Sen’s work, there is a bridge between Indigenous narratives that can jump to any audience.” – Jasper Cohen-Hunter
A continuation of the themes explored in his previous films MYSTERY ROAD and GOLDSTONE, Ivan Sen’s newest outback noir, LIMBO explores the complexities of loss and the impact of the justice system on Aboriginal families in Australia. Flick Ford chats with director Ivan Sen and actor and director Simon Baker who plays Detective Travis in the film.
Flick is then joined by Wurundjeri and Ngurai-Illum-Wurrung man, Jasper Cohen-Hunter, host of the ‘Mirring Yalingwa’ podcast to discuss Ivan Sen's filmography.
