Corey Tutt on This Book Thinks Ya Deadly!

Kamilaroi man Corey Tutt about This Book Thinks Ya Deadly a celebration of Blak Excellence which features over 70 First Nations peoples across music, film, television and stage, visual arts, literature, journalism, education, science, health and sport.

The book also features illustrations from Balangarra and Yolngu artist Molly Hunt and showcases the careers and Corey’s personal stories of First Nations peoples including Professor Marcia Langton, Miranda Tapsell, Tony Armstrong, Dr Anita Heiss, Danzal Baker (Baker Boy), Adam Goodes and Blak Douglas.

Corey Tutt is also the founder of DeadlyScience, an initiative that provides Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Resources to remote schools, which he also spoke about.

Brenda Matthews on documentary The Last Daughter

Wiradjuri woman, author and speaker Brenda Matthews to talk all about The Last Daughter, a powerful documentary about her life around being removed as a young child at the age of two and the impacts that has had and navigating life through two identities.

Brenda has also released a book of the same name which tells this story.
