Listen to Radio Marinara - 24 July 201642:3024 July 2016

Blairgowrie Pier is set to get possibly the world's largest marine sponge transplant - in replacing the massive breakwall, not only do the damaging infestations of shipworm need to be removed, the sponges, ascidians and other pier dwelling animals and plants that call Blairgowrie Pier home need to be rescued. We'll speak with AJ, one of the divers involved in this rescue/transplant mission about the massive task ahead, and what you can do to be part of this amazing community exercise. We also speak with Hayden O'Neill, an emerging surf photographer from the Mornington Peninsula, about his exhibitions and his brand new publication. And Dr Beach brings us some mind-blowing marine science.
