Berlin's U-Bahn is a rapid transit railway and a major part of the city's transport system. Melbourne's U-Bahn are on an equally speedy trip from the underground, fast becoming a key component of the city's music scene. Their debut arrives only months after their first gig, and captures the energy, intensity and addictive melodies of their cult shows. Originally formed by musicians Zoe Monk and Lachlan Kenny, the local five-piece group offer an express journey through the history of synth-punk and glam into uncharted new wave terrain.
