'Rebel Force' is the debut album from Melbourne duo Sleep D, AKA Maryos Syawish and Corey Kikos. The two friends are stalwarts of the local scene. For more than a decade they've produced tracks, played parties, run club residencies, and released records on their own label Butter Sessions. 'Rebel Force' brings together their wholehearted love for dance culture. These ten tracks feature only the finest motor city techno rhythms, electro breakdowns, ambient jazz passages, and cosmic melodies. There's also a collaboration with celebrated producer and DJ Kuniyuki on the downtempo 'Morning Sequence'. The whole album is an absorbing, transporting, and euphoric listen that reveals the range and pace of veteran selectors and music makers.
