Carn the Boogers is the debut LP from Karate Boogaloo. It's a blinder from the local squad whose cinematic soul and instrumental funk is always best on ground. Karate Boogaloo have been in training for years as the rhythm section for The Cactus Channel. More recently the group released two mixtapes, filled with reworks of well known hip hop samples. Carn The Boogers offers a whole new canon of classics, original arrangements that draw on soul, hop hop, funk and library music styles. There's enough percussive precision and exploratory grooves here to keep fans entertained for an entire Premiership winning season.
