On Monday 5 June at 6pm, Nottingham post-punk duo Sleaford Mods stop by Triple R during their Australian tour, playing hits from their latest album UK GRIM. They’ll be performing a special Live at RRR during the last hour of Maps with Fee B-Squared.
No-one tells it quite like the Mods. Bringing us searing social and political distillations for well over a decade now, Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn remain two of the most uncompromising artists of their generation. With their signature erudite lyricism and lean electro-punk production, on their latest record UK GRIM the Nottingham duo fuse confidence and catharsis - sharing a fearsome vision of the world while basking in an affection for the people and places they love amid the maelstrom of modern life.
First Nations people can email firstnations@rrr.org.au to RSVP to attend.
You can also listen to the performance live via FM, digital, online and via the Triple R app.
