Uncommon Sense: Zena Cumpston On Celebrating Indigenous Plant Culture & Knowledge Through Art

Barkandji artist, writer, and researcher Zena Cumpston returns to talk about her new FUSE exhibition, Return a visual art exhibition at Eastmint Studios by Zena featuring artworks, music, talks and workshops celebrating the plant knowledge of southeastern Aboriginal peoples, with a particular focus on the cultural landscape of the Darebin area and the plants of Wurundjeri Woiwurrung Country.

Return is free to attend and runs between Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd September, where you will get to meet and speak with Zena herself at the exhibition across Friday and the weekend.
