Samira is joined in studio by local legend & DJ MzRizk and the director of the HALO Vocal Ensemble, Liona Tatafu ahead of their show at the Fairfield Ampitheatre.

They dive into the formation of the ensemble, the creation of the HALO vocal academy to train new singers and even serenade Samira in the studio with their own rendition of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)’.

“I just wanted to create more community… it’s so important in this music scene especially, just really gathering everybody together and collaborating. I wanted to see more of that.”
