Hannah Van Loong of Tanukichan calls in from her home in Oakland to chat about her new Circles EP. The track "City Bus" is a tribute to commuting on the buses in San Francisco as a kid, which Van Loong remembers fondly, even hiring an actual bus and creating animated miniatures for the music video. Van Loong worked with producer Franco Reid for the first time on an extended release, following last year's standalone single "NPC", and rising shoegaze star Wisp on "It Gets Easier".
