2022 Golden Gibbo-winning comedian Alex Hines joins Richard on SmartArts to talk about her fantastical camp comedy To Schapelle And Back.

To Schapelle and Back is a hilarious psycho-cosmic fantasia of Australiana nostalgia about Schapelle Corby. Created through the real-life friendship between the pair - struck up over social media during Melbourne’s lockdowns - the show draws on real exchanges between the two and has as much heart as it does musical homages.

Alex talks to Richard about what makes Schapelle such a fascinating figure, why the media treated her so badly, and what it is that has made her “the Millennial’s Ned Kelly.”
