Dan Dare is joined in the studio by Naarm-Melbourne based audio nerd, multi-instrumentalist and producer Bad Ambulance aka Jack Palmer.

Jack explains to Dan how he creates music with a visual and sensory feel in mind, writing songs that he hopes challenge listeners, mixing contradictory emotions and styles together.

“I see my music as invoking a sort of dream-state… each track is like a different dream. They’re all kind of bad I guess – as in bad dreams… when I’m making music I’m trying to find these heightened kind of states, it could be a bad dream but it might have this euphoric element in it”
