Hear About The East Gippsland Art Trail On SmartArts
Creative director of the Social Crew, Belinda Collins, joins Richard on SmartArts to talk about the collective’s latest project: Under The Surface.
Under the Surface is a curated public art project comprising of local and internationally renowned artists' works, located along the existing East Gippsland Rail Trail and extending through a selection of villages, hamlets and townships of GunaiKurnai Country.
“The idea is that under each artwork there is a story – each one reflects the environment,” Belinda explains.
Under The Surface includes the work of local Indigenous artists Alice Pepper and Patricia Pittman, and visiting artists David “MEGGS” Hooke, Ling and Minna Leunig.
