Kinlay Denning, drummer of Naarm foursome Big Yawn, stops by the studios for a chat with Chris Gill about their new album (and recent Triple R Album Of The Week!) NGBE.

Kinlay opens up about how the band stuck together through the recent pandemic, the inspiration behind NGBE as well as some of Big Yawn’s recent projects (including their Hear My Eyes show with Teether).

“[NGBE stands] for National Gallery of Brunswick East – a studio-slash-arts space shared by a bunch of our friends, we all made music there, created art. We had photographers and film makers in there…. It was as real community space while it lasted”.
