Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed after Israel recently broke the ceasefire agreement with a series of military strikes across Gaza.

Dylan Bird is joined by journalist Antony Loewenstein to update on developments in Gaza, Israel’s targeting of journalists, the actions from the Netanyahu government since Donald Trump’s inauguration as president of the United States, and how the conflict will play out in the upcoming Australian federal election.

“…Israel has proposed ‘[We’ll] push you as a Palestinian in Gaza into a smaller and smaller and smaller territory, essentially set up a quasi-concentration camp and make your life hell’, or they get told ‘you can go to South Sudan, you can go to Somalia, you can go to Congo. Take your pick.' It’s this or that, and I fear that there are no international pressures to stop that possibility now, which is petrifying.”
