Beloved local chef and food icon Ben Shewry (Attica) joins Cam Smith for wide ranging chat about his brand-new book Uses For Obsession: A Chefs Memoir.

Described by many as a manifesto, something that was “never intended” when it was being written according to Ben, Uses For Obsession charts Ben’s love for food, the culture of cooking and pushes back on the often macho and toxic realm of the traditional professional chef’s kitchen.

“Writing for me is another form of art, it’s another form of creativity. it’s the best way I could possibly articulate my dreams, hopes and experiences to the world”.
