Indigenuity: Corey Tutt OAM, founder of DeadlyScience
Kamilaroi man Corey Tutt OAM returns to Indigenuity to chat about his work integrating Indigenous knowledges in the STEM field. He is the founder of DeadlyScience, a not-for-profit organisation that provides STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) resources to remote schools in Australia. With Krystal, they reflect on his journey beginning DeadlyScience, the organisation and community he’s grown, and talk about why it’s so importance to push Indigenous kids into STEM.
He says, if we can’t see ourselves in STEM, then how can we influence it into the future? Whoever controls the STEM workforce controls our destiny.
