Noongar Wongi hip-hop artist Inkabee joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia catch up on shows nationally, internationally, music released and new music to come.

Inkabee spoke about his journey as an artist and developing his sound over the past five years, after started to rap at the age of seven and soon after releasing debut single Beat the Odds in 2022 at the age of ten.

He also spoke about experiences playing in the US at America's Got Talent and SXSW, as well as shows nationally and at home in Boorloo (Perth) through Flewnt's Boorloo Block Party which brings First Nations hip-hop artists and DJs to the west.

Since joining Banksia in June 2023 and releasing debut since Beat The Odds in 2022, Inkabee has released a series of tracks including Saved By Bell and collabs We Dat Good with Flewnt and No Warning with JJ Vacant.

Inkabee plans to release more music before the of the year and in the new year.
