Banksia: Lisa Waup on new exhibition muddy edges and sustainable arts practices
Gunditjmara, Torres Strait Islander and Italian multidisciplinary artist, maker and curator Lisa Waup joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about new exhibition muddy edges.
Presenting a new collection of seven works off the back of an exhibition and residency in the US, muddy edges centre Country and river and waterways as central places of gather, rest and connect, and highlight our resposbilities and the immediacy of the climate crisis.
Lisa spoke about her creative practices that involves repurposing materials in sustainabile ways across a a range of mediums.
