Kayteye Writer Director Dylan River joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about Stan Original Series Thou Shalt Not Steal which is set in Central and South Australia in the 1980s.

Thou Shalt Not Still uses humour as a way to touch on serious matters such as youth crime, and Dylan spoke about the importance of portraying the series from the perspective of Robyn, a young person who had escaped from detention on a search to find the truth behind a family secret.

Dylan also spoke about developing working in collaboration with his cousin and series Executive Producer, Tanith Glynn-Maloney, and how creating this series provided space to demostrate a more personalised style, following work on series Mystery Road.
