Banksia: Jessica Clark on Tennant Creek Brio exhibition Juparnta Ngattu Minjinypa Iconocrisis
Proud Palawa woman and curator Jessica Clark joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about Tennant Creek Brio exhibition Juparnta Ngattu Minjinypa Iconocrisis at ACCA.
In a special on-location conversation at ACCA, Vanessa and Jessica reflected on the exhibition which brings together nine years of work from the Brio since the collective started on Warramungu country in 2016.
Juparnta Ngattu Minjinypa Iconocrisis presents a big body of work from Brio members where repurposing of found materials included signs, car bonnets, petrol barrelsm and maps from the Warrego Mine.
It also includes an installation that represents the Wilya Janta Housing Project.
Juparnta Ngattu Minjinypa Iconocrisis is at ACCA until 17 November
