Wiradjuri poet and artist Jazz Money joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about new poetry collection mark the dawn which is a celebration of community and gathering, while negotiating the legacies of the intersecting histories we inherit.

Jazz spoke about how the book is a reflective collection and the inspirations behind it around how time marks us and how we mark time and what country teachers us, as well as queerness and joy.

As their second collection of poetry, Jazz also reflected on first poetry collection how to make a basket and how it was for them to develop and release as a follow up.
