Jaadwa composer James Howard joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about upcoming performance Gikilangangu Wergaia at Fringe.

Gikilangangu Wergaia is a collaborative work with Alice Skye and Michael Julian and an exploration of personal and community history through language and improvised music performance.

Centring Wergaia language, spoke about capturing sounds on country which will be brought into their compositions and also shared an example of what to expect.

Gikilangangu Wergaia premieres at Fringe on 2 and 3 October
