First Nations Gamilaroi Yinarr Amelia Jean O’Leary joined Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk all about STAUNCH ASF a new contemporary dance of hers that will be at Fringe Festival.

STANCH ASF explores Amelia's experience growing up as a Gamilaroi Yinarr in the suburbs and constantly having to reclaim her Blakness and autonomy, agency and ancientness through healing and expression.

Amelia also spoke about her work as an indepedent artist in movement, soundscape design and projections, as well as previous works Yinarr and A Certain Mumble.

STAUNCH ASF is Fringe Festival from 12 - 15 October at Meat Market's Cobblestone Pavilion
