Noongar, Yamatji, and Wongai man, a violist, composer and software developer Aaron Wyatt joins Vanessa Morris on Banksia to talk about new work Digital Echoes at Fringe Festival.

Created in collaboration with Speak Percussion and Eugene Ughetti, Digital Echoes is a performance which explores the transformation of sound, messages and meaning displaced by time and space. It explores translation and what is lost and gained through coding and decoding, inviting reflection about the history and future of internet and interstellar communication.

Aaron also spoke about his involvement in First Nations chamber ensamble, Ensamble Dutala, and work with Decibel New Music Ensemble.

Digital Echoes is part of Deadly Fringe at Arts House from 17 - 20 October
