The Greenhouse in Federation Square is the fruition of Joost Bakker's childhood dream. It's a residence that is a complete food system, and a model for how people can live in cities sustainably. "I love the idea that a house can be an ecosystem and can nourish us and I just think that there's so much joy in actually being surrounded by food that you grow".
