Prolific musician, producer and armchair digger Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring/The Green Child/Total Control) joins Joe in the studio to unpack the process of compiling the new Efficient Space compilation "Someone Like Me", a collection of little heard private press songs recorded across a number of eras and locations.

Fastidiously compiled over a number of years, the project became a real labour of love for Mikey and Efficient Space label head Michael Kucyck, both of who had to adopt roles as quasi-private detectives to track down some of the artists included on the comp.

Listen back to hear the the lengths Mikey went to in order to seek permission for some of the tracks on the comp, and the infinite curiousity required to excavate such musical curios that have vanished from the public eye.
