FIERCE: Kate Duncan Traces Her Path from Young Musician to CEO of Victoria’s Leading Youth Music Program
Kate Duncan attended her first Push event at 15, headlined by Rancid and The Living End. Now, a couple decades later, she is CEO of The Push, Victoria’s leading youth music program. She speaks to Tracee Hutchison about the need for creative young people to have community outlets beyond the school environment. Whether it be through industry professional mentoring, development workshops, or all-ages events, Kate and The Push are working to produce dynamic and relevant resources for all musically inclined young people across the state so that they may have the “opportunity to be seen as themselves”.
