How and when did you first connect with Triple R?
Crashed out on a mate’s couch after an all-night bender, I was rudely yanked to the surface of an epically subterranean dream by (former breakfaster) Tony Wilson on the clock radio telling me how Jetstar had just begun flights from Launceston to Newcastle.
What does Triple R mean to you?
It’s a daily reminder that we are all human, people make mistakes and that nobody’s perfect.
What's your favourite Triple R story?
The time I had to read a really long paragraph on-air and somehow managed to finish it exactly at top of the hour to the second. I felt like I was James Dibble. I half expected to get a call from the station manager telling me they wanted my named etched into some plaque.
Describe your happy place
Successfully reversing a jet-ski on a trailer down a boat ramp and seeing the looks on the faces of families camping nearby.
The studio door has accidentally jammed shut with you stuck inside. If there was only one album in there with you, what would you want it to be, and why?
Hooked on Classics. So catchy! AND it’s classical music, so it expands your understand of proper music. Basically, all classical music is dead to me unless it’s arranged into a medley segued over a drum machine.
