How did you first connect with Triple R?

I first hooked up with RRR in 1984. I had just finished High School and applied for a job at RRR as Administrative Assistant. To my surprise I got the job which has now taken me on this fantastic radio journey.

What/when was your first show?

Seeing that I was working in the RRR office I was offered the chance to learn the workings of the on-air studio. I started doing graveyards, fill-ins and was a member of the original Breakfasters team with Chris & Stratos. My first program of my very own was the Selection Show on Sunday afternoons. The Selection Show was the new releases program and was generally known as the Program Managers show. I think I started the Selection Show in late 1984. The memory's not so good with the dates.

Your favourite other Triple R program and why?

I love so many of the programs on RRR like Chicken Mary, Wig Wam Bam, JVG, Son of Crawdaddy, Off The Record, Vital Bits, On The Blower and others. However, I have really enjoyed hearing Leapster's voice on the radio again on All Over the Shop Thursdays. Those boys make me laugh and it's always great to get a dose of good old kiss ass rock ‘n' roll.

What does Triple R mean to you?

Having been here for so many years RRR means so much to me. It's so much a part of my normal routine. It's an amazing place with an incredible collection of volunteers and staff who are extremely passionate and grateful to be part of this radio station.

RRR is a rare and independent voice to people who are always searching for something more. It provides and supports the music, the words and opinions of a world of arts that deserve the recognition.

The studio door has accidentally jammed shut with you stuck inside. If there was only one CD in there with you what would you want it to be and why?

This question is just not funny. I have had this dream/nightmare many times over the years and I've never found it be a fun situation to be in. So therefore I'm going to cheat a little with my answer and suggest the "The Complete Hank Williams" 10 cd box set. I could keep you entertained for hours and hours with this fantastic cd collection.
