How did you first connect with Triple R?

In high school a friend dragged me along to a see Jess Ribeiro play at the station in the live performance space. I had know idea what Triple R was then but I remember it feeling very cool.

What/when was your first show?

My first show was graveyard shift a year or two ago. It was the day after my first Bigsound too so I’m really not sure how I managed to stay awake but I guess I did.

What's your favourite Triple R story?

I was doing a late night shift when the beloved venue One Year got shut down and I guess I kind of broke the news on air. I remember it feeling like a really big deal and all my friends kept calling me from outside the venue. I can now put investigative journalist on my resume.

What's your favourite other Triple R program and why?

I love Meaghan’s show the Aquarium. We used to do graveyards together and I think I would drive her slightly crazy playing songs from the ‘A Star Is Born’, soundtrack. I’m glad she has her own slot now; it’s well deserved.

What does Triple R mean to you?

I think being a Triple R listener is like a secret code. If I know someone loves to listen to the station I know that we’re going to be friends.

The studio door has accidentally shut with you stuck inside. If there was only one CD in there with you what would you want it to be and why?

This is such a cruel question to ask. I think it would have to be the Hamilton soundtrack. IYKYK.
