Today’s episode features two interviews, the first with proud Minang (Nyoongar) and Inggarda (Yamatji) writer and former AFL footballer, Andrew Krakouer, whose recently released children’s book, My Dad’s Gone Away, serves as a meaningful resource for conversations with children about parental incarceration. We then speak with Gunditjmara woman Phoebe Watson and Noongar, Yamatji and Pitta Pitta man Elijah McDonald from the Aboriginal-led gaming studio GUCK, about Blaktasia - a free mobile game which centres on healing Country and is being showcased at the upcoming ‘Big Games Night Out’ in Federation Square on Thursday 10th October.
