The legendary US band are touring Australia for the first time in 13 years. It follows the release of their new album Sit Down For Dinner, described as their "warmest, most welcoming music yet."

It's a rare chance to see their avant-rock, experimental pop, and ethereal melodies in the intimate surroundings of the Performance Space.

Opelousas

Then, on Wednesday 19 June at 6pm, get ready for a stomping set by Opelousas, hosted by Kate Kingsmill of The Distant Sky.

Melbourne’s swamp-blues powerhouse, Opelousas, will bring their latest album Opelousafried to life.

A recent Triple R Album of the week, it features the talents of supreme local musicians Kerri Simpson, Alison Ferrier, and Anthony “Shorty” Shortte.

There’s New Orleans soul influences, and tender rock ballads, as the band explore themes of passion, paranoia, and betrayal.

RONA

Bonny Scott

Last, but not least, on Friday 28 June at 7pm, we'll be treated to a special Live at RRR performance by RONA., hosted by Ethan Savage of Feel The Floor. We had to cancel RONA.'s May performance due to illness, and are thrilled she'll be able to join us in June.

RONA., a Kaytetye producer and DJ, is known for her meditative dance music that merges the soundscapes of Country with innovative production techniques. Fresh from a recent Boiler Room set, and the release of new single, "Be My Medicine," Rona will bring a mix of euphoric melodies, spacious atmospherics, and stories of strength, and community through her music.
