Massive kudos to our very own Dr Jen, who last week took home the Unsung Hero Award of Australian Science Communication! The Unsung Hero Award is an annual award given by the Australian Science Communicators, the national forum for science communicators and science journalists.

Jen’s win recognises her achievements on-air at Triple R (you can hear Dr Jen on Einstein A Go-Go and presenting her relentlessly informative and entertaining ‘Weird Science’ segment on Breakfasters), online with her popular science blog Espresso Science, as well as at Melbourne University, where she has founded, leads and teaches the acclaimed Science Communication Teaching Program UnimelbSciComm.
