As our regular broadcasters take a well-deserved break over the summer, we're welcoming some new (and familiar!) voices to the Triple R grid. Expect sports, architecture, history and more – and as always, plenty of tunes!

And of course, there are also heaps of wonderful fill-in presenters popping up across the grid over summer, so make sure to tune in.

The Architects with Simon Knott, Stuart Harrison, Christine Phillips and Rory Hyde
7-8pm, 11 – 18 December and 8 January - 29 January
20 years after they started, and 10 years after they finished, The Architects are coming back for a limited run over summer. Join Simon Knott, Stuart Harrison, Christine Phillips and Rory Hyde, as well as a raft of guests, for an hour of Architectural discussions, interviews and general chat about the built environment.

SATURDAYS

Arcadia with Genevieve Siggins
4-6pm, 21 December - 25 January
Arcadia is a journey into the rhythm of life’s complexities— a sonic exploration of jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop, rock, folk, and RnB. Each episode weaves music and conversation, inviting listeners to reflect on the intersections of art, culture, and life.

The Temple of Doom with The High Druid

Live Transmission with Jenny Davis
11am-midday, 29 December - 19 January
This summer, Live Transmission is diving again into the fascinating past stories of Australian science and technology. Whether it’s deep history (think fossils and radiocarbon dating) or more recent colonial innovations (think sheep and pipes) - they’re all part of the conversations and stories Jenny Davis shares with her guests this summer.

Paddock to Plate with Alice Mathieu
midday-1pm, 29 December - 19 January
Paddock To Plate looks at how food is grown, processed and made available to consumers. The food industry is a complex and broad-ranging global system that includes agriculture, manufacturing, food processing, marketing, logistics, retail, regulation, and research and development. It faces the challenge of providing sufficient food to a global population that is predicted to reach 9 billion by 2050, amidst limited land, water and energy resources. The current food system has thus emerged as a critical issue, as it impacts environmental, community, and economic sustainability, human rights, policy and health. Paddock To Plate tackles current problems and unpacks future directions for the food industry.
