We Will Always Love You is the third studio album from Australian electronic group the Avalanches. The cover art features an image of Ann Druyan, an astronomer, science communicator, and creative director of the Voyager Golden Record project. Her work is a profound inspiration to The Avalanches, and We Will Always Love You resonates deeply with Druyan's work. Similar to the Golden Record, it's a meticulously, thoughtfully constructed mixtape made by humanity and offered to the stars. The Avalanches reconfigure samples as skilfully as they've always done, and build upon these foundations with rich instrumental arrangments. And they've invited a constellation of collaborators to add their vocals to the mix. Among the many guests performers are Sananda Maitreya, Vashti Bunyan, Blood Orange, Rivers Cuomo, Pink Siifu, Denzel Curry, Tricky, Sampa the Great, Leon Bridges, Johnny Marr, MGMT, Clypso, Neneh Cherry, Jamie xx, Kelly Moran, Cornelius, Karen O, Kurt Vile, Mick Jones, Cola Boyy, Perry Farrell, and Orono.
