'No Home Record' is Kim Gordon’s first solo album in 38 years of making music. It follows three albums with guitarist Bill Nace as Body/Head, four albums with her band Free Kitten and sixteen albums with Sonic Youth, who stopped making music together in 2011. Not to mention Kim Gordon's prolific output as a multi-disciplinary visual artist. No Home Record both synthesises decades of creative practice, and reveals radical new dimensions of Kim Gordon's world. From the atonal rock of "Air Bnb", drone-dirge of "Earthquake", blasted beats and blues of 'Murdered Out', through to the skeletal trap rhythms of 'Paprika Pony', 'No Home Record' a fearless, fearsome display of talent and ideas.
