'Homecooking' is the latest album from DJ Yoda, the acclaimed English DJ and producer. Yoda's turntable techniques and sample slicing skills are all on display here, with nods to soulful '90s hip hop. Jungle Brothers even make an appearance on the blues-infused jam 'Afrika'. Yoda's love for the London's vibrant new school of jazz also shines through. DJ Yoda enlists some of the city's key players, including Nubya Garcia, Theon Cross, Henry Wu and Andrew Ashong to create a rich and inventive set of songs.
