Melbourne via Geelong four piece School Damage have just released their first full length self-titled record. The band's members are deeply immersed in the local music scene playing in groups such as Chook Race, Ausmuteants and Parsnip. The debut album explores the complexities of modern life through shambolic pop songs that take cues from 80's DIY acts such as The Vaselines and Young Marble Giants. With wobbly keyboards, jagged rhythms and sharp chords, School Damage create a foundation for the sort of pop hooks that stay with you long after you've heard them.
