Three years ago D.D. Dumbo released his Tropical Oceans EP, a striking collection of original material featured alongside a beautiful re-working of Roy Orbison's "Crying". Utopia Defeated is the long awaited follow-up, and debut LP from the Castlemaine-based artist. It's a powerful, inventive, and distinctive collection of experimental pop, regional blues, folk and electronic styles.
