Kathleen Hanna is a pioneering artist, central to the development and evolution of the riot grrrl movement: her early bands Bikini Kill and Le Tigre were powerful agents for change, combining feminism, politics and punk styles.

'Hit Reset' is the second album in the recent revival of Kathleen's recording project The Julie Ruin. It finds a perfect balance between the danceable synth sounds of Le Tigre and the incendiary riffs and raw punk of Bikini Kill.
