From 1990 to 1996 California based Mazzy Star produced three beautiful and subtly influential records of ethereal and etherized rock music. Seventeen years later the band are back with a perfectly preserved sound, and it's a very welcome return for their blues, folk, psychedelic and country inflected music. Meditative, reflective, and captivating, the music is guided by the unique singing and performing styles of Hope Sandoval and David Roback, the creative core of the band.
