Melbourne's NO ZU began as the project of Nicolaas Oogjes in 2007, and has since grown into a diverse band of talented local musicians who share a love of forward-thinking funk, post-punk and dubbed-out jazz arrangements. Taking cues from the sounds of influential and experimental labels such as Factory and Ze Records, NO ZU offer their own unique and playful hybrid of organic instrumentation and industrial-strength grooves.
