The Andrea Keller & Tim Wilson Duo was originally conceived in 2007 from a mutual respect and love for open, interactive music making, and a desire to create and explore original compositions and improvisations in an intimate duo format.  Their debut album ‘Life that Lingers’ was recorded live at Bennetts Lane Jazz Club in August 2008, whilst their second live album ‘Consider This’ was released in 2016 and won ‘Best Australian Instrumental Jazz Album’ at the 2017 ‘Bell Awards’ (Australian Jazz Awards). ‘Outside In’ featuring guest trombonist James Macaulay is their third release which was recorded live at the Jazz Lab and released in 2021.

Bone Marreux features two national jazz award winners, Sam Anning and James Macaulay, and it is a comfortable vehicle for the duo to explore their own songs, as well as some favourites from the likes of Blaze Foley, Bill Callahan, and Archie Roach. Vocal harmonies, the personal vulnerabilities of sharing one’s songs, interspersed with a couple of appropriate instrumentals.  Sam Anning – bass, guitar and vocals, James Macaulay – trombone and vocals.
