Tom’s practice can be summarized as an ongoing exploration into peripheral space and time, inspired by the natural environments and non-linearity found in the everyday. Referencing these spaces of interest through algorithms, sound, and visuals that accumulate in hybrid audio-visual environments and temporal sonic adaptations.

Releasing multiple recordings over the past two decades on labels such as Elli, Overlap, Arlen, Presto!?, Errorgrid and Superpang, along with exhibitions and live audio-visual tours worldwide.

For the past decade, Tom has worked as a developer of educational materials and media at Cycling ’74, makers of the visual programming language Max/MSP & Jitter, Max for Live, and RNBO.
