Time Paintings is a new exhibition of abstract paintings by Matthew Simpson held at No Vacancy Gallery in the CBD located at 34-40 Jane Bell Lane, QV Building, Melbourne. Canvases are made up of layers of lines. The titles of the paintings reflect the random nature of the work. The works evoke natural rhythms. Chance and intuition play a prominent role in their creation. Time Paintings is supported by the City of Melbourne Arts Grants.
