Alex Creece is a writer, poet, collage artist, and average kook living and working on Wadawurrung land. Alex works as the Online Editor for Archer Magazine and the Production Editor for Cordite Poetry Review. She's also on the editorial committee for Sunder Journal. Alex was awarded a Write-ability Fellowship in 2019 and a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship in 2020. A sample of Alex’s work was Highly Commended in the 2019 Next Chapter Scheme, and she was shortlisted for the 2021 Kat Muscat Fellowship. In 2022, Alex was shortlisted for the inaugural Born Writers Award and the Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Award. She's been published with Australian Poetry Journal, Aniko Press, SBS Online, and more.

Ouyang Yu came to Australia in mid-April 1991 and has since published 146 books of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, literary translation and criticism in English and Chinese languages, including his award-winning novels, The Eastern Slope Chronicle (2002) and The English Class (2010), his collections of poetry, Songs of the Last Chinese Poet (1997), and Terminally Poetic (2020), which won the Judith Wright Calanthe Award for a Poetry Book in the 2021 Queensland Literary Awards, his book website: www.huangzhouren.com and his bilingual blog: youyang2.blogspot.com

He was shortlisted for the Writer’s Prize in the 2021 Melbourne Prize for Literature and won the Fellowship from the Australia Council in late 2021 for writing a documentary novel. Alison J Barton is a Wiradjuri poet writing in Naarm. She is widely published in journals such as Overland, Cordite, Australian Poetry Journal, Meanjin, Otoliths, Rabbit, Westerly Mag, StylusLit, Mascara Literary Review, Poethead (Ireland) and The Night Heron Barks (USA). In 2022 Alison’s poetry was recognised in the Queensland Poetry Oodgeroo Noonuccal Poetry Prize, the WB Yeats Poetry Prize for Australia and the Liquid Amber Press Poetry Prize. Her work appeared in Best of Australian Poems 2022 and the Mascara Review Resilience Anthology. In 2023 she won places in both the Varuna House/Mascara First Nations Residency and the Varuna House Tony Birch Masterclass. Alison’s first full-length collection of poetry, Not Telling, is forthcoming with Puncher & Wattmann.

Jon Tjhia is an artist, writer and editor working through literature, radio and podcast, installation, photomedia, music and publishing. Formerly at the Wheeler Centre, he co-founded and published the Australian Audio Guide and Notes. Jon’s recent works are published by the Powerhouse, Institute of Modern Art, Un, Going Down Swinging, LIMINAL, Pantera Press and Avantwhatever, and his collaborations include the Manus Recording Project Collective, Paper Radio, and Debris Magazine #3: The Urge to Know – guest edited with Cher Tan.
