Folk 'Til Ya Punk Records are the crew behind Hobart's long running folk-punk festival HOBOFOPO, and they're proud to be presenting The Taxpayers national tour in Australia this November.
The Tapayers are a long-running experimental DIY genre-bending punk band that started in Portland, Oregon in 2007. After an eight year hiatus, The Taxpayers have made a dream comeback in 2024, selling out shows all across the USA and seeing their spotify stats jump from 500k monthly listeners to 1mil. They will top off this stellar year with their first ever international tour, to Australia.
Their acclaimed 2012 concept album about the rise and fall of a fictional baseball player, "God, Forgive These Bastards" was widely considered one of the best albums of the year, it features the song "I Love You Like An Alcoholic" and was even turned into a musical stage production.
Their Melbourne/Naarm show will be at The Gaso in Collingwood, with an all ages show upstairs 3-5pm with The Heterophobes on support, then an 18+ show downstairs 8-11.30pm with The Currency and Gusto Gusto on support.
Melbourne dream-pop band GRAZER return from a wee hiatus with their second LP 'I Always Follow', produced by Gab Strum. To celebrate the new release, GRAZER will be dropping a whole new live lineup at The Gaso Upstairs on the 30th November. With support from Mid City and more supports
